Our Photography Equipment

Our photography equipment is import to what we do, but wedding photography is so much more than just nice equipment. However, that is not to say your wedding photographer shouldn’t have nice gear.

The photography equipment we use is not what makes the moments we capture, but it sure does make it easier to create them. Here is a list of some of our photography equipment. Besides the equipment listed below, we have a variety of tripods, filters, modifiers and other photography accessories.

The following list is not all-inclusive, but it gives you a good idea of what our photography studio uses and what you should have for expectations for any professional photog.

 CAMERAS

We utilize Canon camera bodies. Every photographer has to choose a brand. We chose Canon and it is not a choice we will ever regret. There are several other manufacturers out there who make great quality cameras, but for our style of photography, Canon has exceeded our expectations since the beginning.

  1. Primary camera body: (wedding photography) Canon 5D Mark III
  2. Backup camera body: (Wedding photography & video) Canon 80D

Lenses

Professional lenses improve the sharpness, contrast, and depth of field within the photography. They are expensive, but the investment in quality glass is the foundation for every image we capture. We do not use all of these lenses on every shoot we do, but we make sure we have the ones we need with us to capture your moments with us. Rowena typically shoots telephoto, Shawn normally shoots Wide, but we complement each other’s styles and with our two-shooter packages, we meet in the middle.
